 Background:

The SCALE Critical Care Project is a collaborative health workforce capacity development initiative between Ministry of Health Uganda and NHS, United Kingdom established to enhance skills and knowledge of Ugandan critical health care providers through peer-to-peer learning and exchange visits. The project will be implemented in two major phases. Phase one is virtual and has already started as Virtual Clinical Grand rounds (VCGR) which will be happening monthly. Phase 2 will involve exchange visits between Uganda and United Kingdom SCALE Critical care sites.

Against that background, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CUH), the UK SCALE Critical Care site has commenced phase 2 by opening up applications for Clinical Fellows (Core/Higher) in Intensive Care and Neuro Critical Care at Addenbrooke’s Hospital with fellowships available from 03 August 2022 until 01 August 2023 and 01 February 2023 until 06 February 2024. Once admitted on the program, you may be enrolled onto the Medical Training Initiative (MTI) to help you support the local Uganda health system better
