The SCALE (Strengthening Healthcare Workforce through Global Learning) programme, a cooperative endeavour aimed at promoting capacity building and mutual learning between the healthcare systems in Uganda and the UK, is directly responsible for this initiative.

The partnership between MNRH, Kidney Care for All (KCA), and the Uganda Kidney Foundation, under the SCALE umbrella, aims to elevate the standard of kidney care available in Uganda. In a tangible demonstration of this commitment, Kidney Care for All has facilitated this crucial visit to the renowned transplant program at Manchester Royal Infirmary.
During their time in Manchester, the Ugandan delegation will gain invaluable insights into the established protocols and pathways for live donor kidney transplantation.
