Virtual Simulated Placement to support the leadership development of nurses globally
Who are the learners?
Early-career nurses from Ireland & the US & early-career nurses and midwives from Uganda.
Indicative learning hours
20 hours to include approximately 1 hour per week from September 2022 – January 2023 to include

Upon completion of the virtual simulated placement the participant will be able to:
- Identify the importance of self-care, professional values, and reflection to support leadership and professional
- Examine the impact of effective communication and collaborative teamwork with patients, families, carers and within nursing/midwifery and multidisciplinary teams and
- Discuss the benefits of critical thinking and decision-making skills in nursing & /or
